Since Blake and I don't have any children (and won't for quite a while!) we are a little over obsessed with our dogs. Ok that might be a little misleading...I'll still be just as obsessed with them even when we do have children! So some might call me pathetic but today I had to drop my little Nina off at the vet to get her teeth cleaned. No big deal right?! Well if you were holding a little shaky poodle (maltipoo to be exact) and signing a form saying 'although the procedure is safe there could be complications' you would be sad too! Anyways! I figured what better first Thankful Thursday than our doggies?!
Nina is a white maltipoo that I got for Christmas from my parents my junior year of college. Don't let her 5 pound stature, pink collar, and white fluffy hair fool you, this girl has some serious 'tude! Love her to death but she just does not get the fact that she weighs 5 pounds and NO ONE would ever be scared of her.

This is Nina the very first day I got her. Angelic right?!

My favorite picture of her! Wouldn't it break your heart to leave this cutie?!
Now for Nina's brother. Blake got Vinny during his sophomore year of college. Vinny is a border collie mix of some sort that he rescued from the pound. He hates big trucks, loves squeaky toys, and is a little (or maybe a lot) neurotic. We just love him to death though and he provides us with endless amounts of entertainment.

Vinny taking a break from squeaking his toy to pose for the picture.

Vinny dressed as a lobster a few Halloween's ago. He pretty much hated us for this and refused to wear the head piece.
So all in all, I am so thankful for our little puppy babies. They are super lovable and always happy to see us when we come home. We also spend lots of time talking about their lives, what they are thinking, who they were before being a dog, etc (don't judge us). What would we do without this entertainment?!
And that my friends, is what I am thankful for today (among many other things!).
xo, Lindsay
